About

Born to two phenomenal and valiant Korean immigrants, I’m a proud Korean American that lives to explore the heterogeneity of the world. Thanks to my multi-cultural identity, I’ve been given the opportunity to view life from a multitude of perspectives which never ceases to surprise me.

That's why culture comes before any of my other passions. Everyday, I aim to share my own cultural frame or learn about another because that’s where change happens – at the intersection of the familiar and the unknown.

At the end of the day, my goal is to decode culture and help it move forwards. Advertising has an amazing power to move people, and I’m eager to help the ad world influence the way people think and act. Our world is changing and brands need to change with it.

How will they change?

By understanding culture.

Here are some of my favorite ways to learn about and experience culture: culinary adventures, Manchester United, AAPI podcasts, memoirs, social music scenes, and more!
